Sant Singh Maskeen Ji : Katha Part 1 here

Sant Singh Maskeen Ji

say that
Prior to the Chaubees Avtar Bani arrives the autobiography associated with Guru Gobind Singh Ji, known as ‘Bachittar Natak’. Within Akal Ustat, there isn't any mention of any kind of kings, it is actually pure praises associated with Akal Purakh. There are some questions in Akal Ustat which i [Sant Singh Maskeen Ji] want to present before a person:

ਕੋ ਸੂਰਾ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਕਵਨ ਕਹਾ ਜੋਗ ਕੋ ਸਾਰ ॥

Ko sooraa sundar kavan kahaa run ko saar||

Who's hero and who's beautiful? What may be the essence of Yoga exercise?

Ko daataa giaanoo kavan kaho bichaar abichaar||10||210||

Who's the Donor and who's the Knower? Inform me the cautious and injudicious. 10. 210. (Panna 81, Sri Dasam Granth)

Guruji talks concerning the things nowadays that atrracts and influences an individual. Similarly, Guruji requires:

Kahaa nem sanjam kahaa kahaa giaan agiaan||

Do you know the observance and restraining? What are the data and nescience. (Panna 81, Sri Dasam Granth)

There are lots of more questions which Guruji puts ahead, and all of these are the topics which we're not always obvious about, and frequently misunderstand and misunderstand their real connotations. However, anyone that has understood these questions and it has found the answers for them, consider such an individual as having the knowledge of all of the four directions from the Dharam.

Lets discuss the next question:

ਕੋ ਸੂਰਾ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਕਵਨ ਕਹਾ ਜੋਗ ਕੋ ਸਾਰ ॥

Ko sooraa sundar kavan kahaa run ko saar||

Who's hero and who's beautiful? What may be the essence of Yoga exercise?

So, who is actually brave? One which has got great power in his entire body? Or someone who is able to take others’ turbans off constantly? No. The maximum of Bhagti is actually:

ਕਹੁ ਕਬੀਰ ਸੁਖਿ ਸਹਜਿ ਸਮਾਵਉ ॥

kahu kabeer sukh sehaj samaavo ||

States Kabeer, I 'm now immersed within intuitive peace as well as poise.

aap d ddaro n avar ddaraavo ||3||17||

I actually do not fear anybody, and I don't strike fear into other people. ||3||17|| (Ang 327, Dhan Sri Expert Granth Sahib Ji)

Expert Teg Bahadur Ji states:

bhai kaahoo ko dhaeth nehi nehi bhai maanath aan ||

One that does not scare anyone, and who's not afraid of other people

kahu naanak sunlight rae manaa giaanee thaahi bakhaan ||16||

-- says Nanak, pay attention, mind: call him or her spiritually wise. ||16|| (Ang 1427, Dhan Sri Expert Granth Sahib Ji)

It is stated that the solutions to these queries were originally contained in Sri Dasam Granth, but some part of it's been lost. Wise men believe that part of Dasam Granth was lost in the period when wars were being struggled Mughals. Yet another group of scholars believe which Guruji has inlayed subliminal answers in order to these questions inside the questions themselves. This type of shabad by Bhagat Kabir Ji is within Dhan Sri Expert Granth Sahib Ji, where question may be the answer and answer may be the question.

jo thum apanae january sa kaam ||1|| rehaao ||

should you require any work out of your humble servant. ||1||Pause||

eihu guy baddaa k jaa therefore man maaniaa ||

Is actually this mind higher, or the Someone to whom the thoughts is attuned?

raam baddaa kai raamehi jaaniaa ||1||

May be the Lord greater, or one that knows the Head of the family? ||1||

brehamaa baddaa nited kingdom jaas oupaaeiaa ||

Is actually Brahma greater, or the main one who created Him or her?

baedh baddaa nited kingdom jehaan thae aaeiaa ||2||

Would be the Vedas greater, or the main one from which these people came? ||2||

kehi kabeer ho bhaeiaa oudhaas ||

States Kabeer, I have grown to be depressed;

theerathh baddaa nited kingdom har kaa dhaas ||3||42||

may be the sacred shrine associated with pilgrimage greater, or the slave from the Lord? ||3||42||(Ang 331, Dhan Expert Granth Sahib Ji)

Anyone who has the knowledge from the grammer of Gurbani and people familiar with this kind of writing will realize that the questions have the answers inside them. Kabeer Ji says the main one whose mind has decided to Akal Purakh is actually greater. Similarly, the main one who has recognized Akal Purakh is actually greater, because one may never know Lord exists if you will find no Sants around who've found the Accurate Creator. A great soul came about this earth in a little village Talwandi, just then it grew to become Nankana Sahib, this never existed prior to Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Likewise, Sheesh Ganj within Chandni Chowk, exactly where Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji offered Shaheedi became the pilgrimage, otherwise it had been just a regular place. So, has that location given importance in order to Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji or even has Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji offers given birth to that particular place? It is actually Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s Shaheedi which created that location.

Sant Singh Maskeen Ji : Katha

Sant Singh Maskeen Ji Katha : Dasam Granth

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa
Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

A person always has some kind of expectation of incentive everytime he/she works any action (karam). If that reward isn't recieved by investing in that action, it's like a sown seed couldn't develop at just about all, like a planted tree couldn't bear any fresh fruit. A gardener, who dedicatedly protects the flowers as well as plants he has grown, feels really let down if his plants dry out despite his initiatives. We get upward and perform the daily actions to do Nitnem each morning, the reward or fruit of those actions according in order to Gurbani is presented the following:

There are around (

Sant Singh Maskeen Ji

guesses) 150 approximately questions in the actual Dasam Granth. All these questions, found within the Akaal Ustat, is very valuable and essential. These questions would be the very questions the seeker of Reality often faces upon his journey every once in awhile. But, the Bani just puts forth the actual questions and doesn't provide any solutions. People who have experienced the fortunate chance to see (darshan) associated with Dasam Granth Ji may know this, although nowadays people don’t even appear to have time to go to Guru Granth Sahib Ji.

I [

Sant Singh Maskeen Ji

] want to clarify the doubts why Dhan Guru Gobind Singh Sahib Ji Maharaaj didn't register his Bani within the Dhan Dhan Expert Granth Sahib Ji. The idea that I [Sant Singh Maskeen Ji] frequently put across to describe this are these types of:

1. Firstly, the whole Bani of Dhan Dhan Expert Granth Sahib Ji Maharaaj is all about Brahm Gyaan, pure Understanding of God. However, within Dasam Granth Ji, Dhan Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s personal discourse and story can also be present.

Now I relate my very own story of exactly how God sent me on the planet while I had been absorbed in deep breathing. (Panna 132, Sri Dasam Granth Ji)

This is actually the autobiographical discourse through Guru Gobind Singh Ji such as, where and why he was created, how he invested his childhood, and also the wars he fought that are explained in vast detail within the Bani Bachittar Natak. Within Dhan Dhan Expert Granth Sahib Ji, nevertheless, is pure Brahm Gyaan, one won't find any reference to any historical details, for example where so when was Guru Nanak Dev Ji born and so on. Therefore, keeping this particular fact in thing to consider, Guru Gobind Singh Ji chose to not register his Bani within Dhan Dhan Expert Granth Sahib Ji Maharaaj.

two. The second debate often given is actually this: Why do Guru Gobind Singh Ji create his life tale himself? In common, the life tale of prophets as well as great religious numbers (Avtaari Purash) may be written by people besides themselves. For instance, the story associated with Sri Ram was compiled by Tulsi and Valmiki the ones like Pandit Hirda Memory, etc. Similarly, the whole life history associated with Sri Krishna was compiled by Ved Vyaas, as well as by people such as Kavi Nirotam, Kaisho Dutt yet others. So, the question that's asked is while there have been people who could write the life span history of Expert Gobind Singh Ji, why did he decide to write it themself?

A writer who wishes to create about any avtaari purash needs both true feeling and understanding of him. If the actual story is informed with pure psychological feelings, the work will be nothing but incorrect meanings. I [Sant Singh Maskeen Ji] possess read books compiled by such people, plus they were full associated with emotional exaggerations without any real knowledge at the rear of it, so much to ensure that miracles have been mounted on even the insignificant of things. For instance, Tulsi, in his psychological outburst has created saloks where he's gone so far as calling Sri Memory the God incarnate. Within the same fashion, Surdaas, Nirotam yet others write about Sri Krishan as well as call him Lord. However, if even deep knowledge doesn't have emotional element mounted on it, then arguments occur. So, there needs to be a proper stability between both both of these elements.

Guru Gobind Singh Ji was conscious of the difficulty of keeping the best balance. He had been concerned that a few sikh, flowing within the sea of feelings, might end upward equating him along with God while composing his life background. That is the reason why, Guruji decided to create his autobiography, and wrote the next in it:

People who call me Lord, will fall to the pit of heck.

Regard me like a humble servant from the Lord and don't have any doubt about this.

I am a slave from the Supreme Being and also have come to see the drama from the world. (Bachittar Natak, Sri Dasam Granth)

God may be the supreme power, and Guru Gobind Singh Ji clearly states he is not Lord, but just a individual.

I [Sant Singh Maskeen Ji] had been reading a guide by Khushwant Singh by which he writes you will find about 84 individuals in India that call themselves Bhagwaan, which includes people like Rajneesh. Unfortunately, there are couple of others, like the actual Nirankaaris, who prefer to be called because Nirankaars. Blindly, fools started subsequent them without even realising this is of the term ‘Nirankaar’. Nirankaar word means One which has no type, then how can someone made from five elements be considered a Nirankaar? Such individuals are in our panth too who call on their own Gurus and Sants and persuade individuals to follow their royalty and their very own ways. Such people try to break people through our Guruji instead of bonding them nearer to the true Experts. Anyhow, sooner or even later, maybe within the next century, the whole world will need to accept the proven fact that a human being made from flesh and bones can't ever be God. Anyone who attracts individuals to his own belief system is really a cheat. Our 10 Gurus never informed us to praise them and deal with them as Lord. Instead, the whole work of Gurus would be to connect us towards the words written within the praise of Lord.

Now, I [Sant Singh Maskeen Ji] want to present some truly beautiful thoughts compiled by Guru Gobind Singh Ji within Sri Dasam Granth when it comes to various aspects associated with life and faith. Another reason which Guru Gobind Singh Ji didn't add bani within Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaaj is actually that Guruji has been doing teeka of many other religious scriptures, the philosophies which Guruji do not really endorse, it is simply a teeka from the religious texts with regard to understanding.

I have made up the discourse from the tenth part (Skandh) of Bhagavat within the vernacular; O Head of the family! I have absolutely no other desire and also have only the zeal for that war fought based on righteousness. 2491. (Panna 1133, Sri Dasam Granth)

As you may be aware, Banis such as Ram Avtar, Krishna Avtar, in addition to discourses on Chaubees Avtar can be found in Sri Dasam Granth. The discourses about the twenty four avtars had been originally completely created in Sanskrit. In those times, a brahmin accustomed to teach Sanskrit in order to fellow brahmins only simply because they used to think that understanding of Sanskrit is actually right of just the brahmins. As a result, common man was not able to decipher what had been written in individuals texts. Guru Gobind Singh Ji, together with his infinite wisdom, did teekas of all of the 24 avtars from Sri Paonta Sahib to ensure that even the typical man could understand what it is about. Even though Guruji authored these texts, he managed to get absolutely clear these are not their thoughts.

I do not really adore Ganesha at first and also don't mediatate on Krishna as well as Vishnu; I have only learned about them with my personal ears and I actually do not recognize all of them; my consciousness is absorbed in the feet of the actual Supreme Kal (the actual Immanent Brahman). 434. (Panna 732, Sri Dasam Granth)

The reason Guruji felt the requirement to write these outlines after Krishna Avtar would be to dispel any believed that Guruji worships Krishna. Unfortunately, some people nevertheless misunderstood, like Bhagat Chela Memory. He has created a book known as ‘Murali Mehma’. He writes within the preface of the actual book that Expert Gobind Singh Ji offers accepted Krishna since the most superior amongst all of the Avtars. And although he couldn't continue to get into detail, but he or she did let their intentions know. Guru Gobind Singh Ji desired to let the masses understand what the ‘secret’ knowledge is about, because brahmins accustomed to claim that no one else except them possess the right to obtain this knowledge.

Sant Singh Maskeen Ji : Early Years

Giani Sant Singh Maskeen : Early Years

Throughout Giani Sant Singh Maskeen ji's initial years of Gurmat Parchar he was the one who had to tread a very uneven path in order to sustain his motive despite of his low budget. But, he was not really a man to stop easily. Maskeen ji had got accustomed to go miles on foot for the sake of religious events and also to preach upon gurmat in various cities and towns. The only source of their earning was whatever the sangat offerred them at such events as a mark of respect. Sant Singh Maskeen ji faced all of the hurdles that arrived their way as well as kept their goal in the focus which was spreading the information of holy Guru Granth Sahib Ji to the entire humanity. Throughout the entire period of his life Maskeen Ji preferred to remain miles away from politics and also gurudwara politics.

Sant Singh Maskeen Ji : A Manager

Sant Singh Maskeen Ji visited many places in India and abroad for Gurmat Prachar and Katha. They always the Sikhs to consider the proper management of the entire process of management, so that everything went on smoothly. Maskeen Ji had also written a book about Gurdwara Management. They were greatly concerned about the poor election procedure in place that decides the people that constitute the committees for that management of Gurdwaras, a subject that has now become the main cause of the actual infighting among Sikhs all over the world.

Sant Singh Maskeen Ji : Their early years

Giani Sant Singh Maskeen ji's mother and father were
Mata Ram Kaur and S. Kartar Singh respectively. Giani ji received their primary education in the Khalsa School. During their higher schooling the turmoil of Indian Independence occurred and maskeenji along with their family left everything including their home back in the 'now Pakistan' and came to 'now India'. Uncountable numbers of Sikhs and their once Hindu neighbors passed away or were brutaly slaughtered before reaching the security of India (and also to be fair numerous Muslims died on the way to Pakistan), a move most of them would have preferred to not make as nicely, but Giani Sant Singh Maskeen ji's loved ones finally made a brand new home in Alwar within Rajasthan.

After some years tragedy again struck their house with the death of his father in 1952. This had a detrimental impact on him and gianiji began feeling sad as well as isolated from life issues. This led Sant Singh Maskeen Ji to the fundamental tenets of Gurbani through various places as well as from different students. He became therefore engrossed in Gurbani he soon became the learned narrator.

Last Rites :

In the year 2005, Giani Sant Sing Maskeen Ji bade farewell to this materialistic world and went on to become one with truth. The arrangements made by SGPC to perform the last rites of the departed soul were commended by the general population. Sant Singh Maskeen Ji had recently been honoured with the highest honour in Sikhism i.e. “Panth Ratan”. However at the Bhog ceremony Maskeen ji were honoured by SGPC as the “Gurmat Vidya Marthand” posthumous honor. Bibi Jagir Kaur, the actual then president associated with SGPC also introduced "Bhai Gurdas Precious metal posthumous Award", which was really worth rupees one lakh, for Sant Singh Maskeen Ji as well as presented a check for rupees ten lakh towards the wife of Sant Singh Maskeen Ji with regard to his outstanding contribution in the reason for Sikhism and gurmat life-style.

Giani Sant Singh Maskeen : Lifestyle and Background

Background : Giani Sant Singh Maskeen

It’s said that background and events that occur in one’s life have a deep impact on the personality and thinking of the person. It can be considered true in case of Sant Singh Maskeen too. Sant Singh Maskeen belonged to a modest Sikh family and was the only son of Kartar Singh and Ram Kaur ( Sant Singh Maskeen’s Parents). He completed his primary education at Governement Primary school but due to partition of India his secondary education was interrupted. Partition of India was a very unfortunate incident in the history of India and the atmosphere during partition was very violent as there were riots and mass killings everywhere. Sant Singh Maskeen had to leave western part of Punjab and had to move to India due to this turmoil. After the 1947 partition of India Sant Singh Maskeen moved to Alwar in Rajasthan where he then spent most of his life.

Sant Singh Maskeen

called it God’s grace that they reached India safely because thousands of Hindus and Sikhs were murdered by muslims on their way to India. Sant Singh Maskeen along with his family reached Alwar in Rajasthan safely where he lived for the last 57 years of his life. Partition of India was a very hard time for families who had to leave their ancestral homelands.

Other than partition of India the other event that had a major impact on Giani Sant Singh Maskeen was the death of his father in 1952. After the passing of his father Sant Singh Maskeen became very sad and disconnected himself from the world. He became very lonely and sad and eventually left home to learn about Sikhism and gurbani. This can be considered as a turnaround point in Sant Singh Maskeen ji’s life. He became very engrossed in Gurbani and soon became a narrator.

Sant Singh Maskeen

Sant Singh Maskeen

then started preaching Gurmat and teachings of Sikhism and gurbani. He had to face difficulties and had to struggle a lot because he was not financially very sound. He however was not among those men who give up hopes easily. Sant Singh Maskeen used to walk long distances to attend gurmat samagams and to attend religious meetings and congregations. He remained firm in spreading the teachings of Guru Granth Sahib and had to face a lot of challenges but he remained strong and never gave up. His only source of income was whatever offered by the sangat out of respect and affection.

Sant Singh Maskeen was very concerned about management of gurudawaras and always insisted on a proper system of management of Gurudwaras. He insisted that this was the main cause of fighting among Sikhs and this should be resolved and a proper system of management be constituted.

Sant Singh Maskeen was known for his simpicity and humbleness,he was a very simple person and an advocate of simplicity. He used to wear simple clothes and a black turban. He preferred the meal at langar to lavish meals. Sant Singh Maskeen is a true example of simple living and high thinking. He was a down to earth and a very simple person. It would be very difficult to fill the void that has been created by the death of Panth Ratan Giani Sant Singh Maskeen.
